This work examines the two-dimensional irrotational flow of incompressible ideal fluid around an obstacle. The author assumes that the fluid domain is bounded by two closed Jordan curves. The inner curve is the boundary of the obstacle, while the outer curve is a free boundary. The main goal is to investigate the well-posedness of the Cauchy problem.
