Let \(G\) be a finite group and \(F\) be a field. A \(G\)-algebra \(A\) over \(F\) is called central simple if it has exactly two \(G\)-invariant ideals and \(C_{Z(A)}(G)=F\). In a previous paper the author introduced the set \(S(G,F)\) of equivalence classes of central simple \(G\)-algebras. Its importance comes from the fact that if \(J\) is a normal subgroup of the finite group \(H\) with \(H/J=G\), then one can associate to each character \(\chi\in\text{Irr}(H)\) an element \([[\chi]]\in S(G,F)\) (for an appropriate \(F\)) which determines the Clifford theory of \(\chi\), including the Schur indices of the relevant characters. In the present paper, \(G\) is assumed to be cyclic and \(\text{char }F=0\). The author obtains a classification of the elements of \(S(G,F)\), and moreover, given an element \([[\chi]]\) of \(S(G,F)\), he determines the field of values and the Schur index of all the relevant characters of the intermediate subgroups between \(J\) and \(H\).
