A convergence theorem for the inexact Newton-like method applied to solve a nonlinear operator equation containing both a differentiable and a nondifferentiable term, is given. The ambient space is a Banach space with a convergence structure. Error bounds are obtained and, finally, two applications are shown. There are a few misprints in the paper (for example, Equations (6) and (7) are identical) that affect the reading.
