The author introduces the concepts of strong \(\lambda\)-summability and \(\lambda\)-statistical convergence of sequences of fuzzy numbers and investigates the relationship between them. These results continue the work of \textit{F. Nuray} and \textit{E. Savaş} [Math. Slovaca 45, No. 3, 269-273 (1995; Zbl 0852.40003)], see also \textit{Kwon Joong-Sung} [Korean J. Comput. Appl. Math. 7, No. 1, 195-203 (2000; Zbl 0940.40001)].
