    Let \(X_{ij}>0\) (\(i= 1,\dots,m\); \(j= 1,\dots, n\)), \(p_i> 0\), \(\sum^n_{i=1} 1/p_i= 1\). If \[ h(t)= \prod^n_{k=1} \Biggl[\sum^m_{i=1} \Biggl(\prod^n_{j=1} X_{ij}\Biggr)^{1- t} (X^{p_k}_{ik})^t\Biggr]^{1/p_k}, \] then \(h\) is increasing for \(t\geq 0\). Particularly, \(h(0)\leq h({1\over 2})\leq h(1)\) which gives a refinement of the classical Hölder inequality.
