Tensor categories \(\mathcal C\) with fusion rules of self-duality over finite abelian groups \(A\) are constructed, and tensor functors of such categories into the category of vector spaces are investigated. The isomorphism classes of these functors will be described in terms of isomorphism classes of simple \(A\)-graded algebras \(R\) with involutions \(f:R\to R\). If \(|A|= d^2\) is odd the author so provides a complete classification of the isomorphism classes of these tensor functors. By applying Tannaka theory a Hopf algebra is determined whose category of finite-dimensional modules is equivalent to the category \(\mathcal C\). Similar results have been derived if \(|A|= d^2\) is even and \(A\) is an elementary abelian 2-group.
