On the base of the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy set (extension of the ordinary fuzzy set) [the reviewer, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 20, 87-96 (1986; Zbl 0631.03040)], intuitionistic fuzzy point, and intuitionistic fuzzy topological space [\textit{D. Çoker}, Turk. J. Math. 20, 343-351 (1996; Zbl 0862.04007); \textit{S. Özçag} and \textit{D. Çoker}, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 21, 33-40 (1998; Zbl 0892.54005)], the notions of intuitionistic fuzzy special set, intuitionistic fuzzy special point, vanishing intuitionistic fuzzy special point, intuitionistic fuzzy special \(\sigma\)-algebra, intuitionistic fuzzy special measure and others are introduced and some of their basic properties are studied.
