Let \(BP\) denote the Brown-Peterson spectrum for a prime \(p\), and let \(F\) be its formal group. The author gives estimates for the coefficients in the formal power series \([p^k]_F(x)\). For \(p=2\), the author proves that some of these estimates are sharp.
