Let \(W=(W,S)\) be a finite Coxeter group and let \(W_J\) be a standard parabolic subgroup generated by some \(J\subseteq S\). The present paper is concerned with the quotient of Poincaré polynomials \(W^J(t)=\tfrac{W(t)}{W_J(t)}\). The author shows that \(W^J(-1)\) is equal to the number of left cosets of \(W_J\) in \(W\) fixed by the left-multiply action of the longest element \(w_0\) of \(W\). The proof of the result is by a case-by-case argument, which is based on the work of \textit{J. R. Stembridge} in the minuscule representations of Lie algebras [Duke Math. J. 73, No. 2, 469-490 (1994; Zbl 0805.22006)] and on the calculations of \(\tfrac{W(-1)}{W_J(-1)}\) by \textit{L. Tan} [Commun. Algebra 22, No. 3, 1049-1061 (1994; Zbl 0831.20052)].
