To describe the thermodiffusive flows in solid body, the author uses a general form of specific free energy. A basic thermomechanical inequality is derived, and then the decomposition theorem provides the general solution of this inequality. Based on thermomechanical analysis, the constitutive equations are constructed for thermodiffusive flows in Kelvin-Voigt medium.
