The author studies septic irreducible polynomials such that in the number field generated by its root only one prime \(p<11\) ramifies. The primes 2 and 3 are eliminated by discriminant bounds, the prime 5 by computer search and five polynomials with 7 power discriminant are found. The methods of \textit{J. W. Jones} and \textit{D. P. Roberts} [Lect. Notes Comput. Sci. 1423, 412-423 (1998; Zbl 0924.11102), Number Theory, CRM Proc. Lect. Notes 19, 141-172 (1999; Zbl 0931.11060)] and \textit{M. Pohst} [J. Number Theory 14, 99-117 (1982; Zbl 0478.12005)] are used..
