Let \(M=(q_i,p_i)^n_{i=1}\) be the phase space of a Hamiltonian system. A new space \(M_E\), called extended phase space, is obtained by adding the time \(t=q_{n+1}\) and its conjugate Hamiltonian function \(p_{n+1}=H\). A canonical transformation of time is a transformation preserving the canonical form of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation \(\frac{\partial S}{\partial t} +H=0\). For several specific families of integrable systems, namely Toda chains, Holt systems and Stäckel-type systems, canonical transformations of time in \(M_E\) that preserve the integrability property are obtained.
