This paper deals with the autonomous differential equation \(\dot\theta =F(\theta, \lambda)\) with a vector parameter \(\lambda\in \mathbb{R}^N\) on real Hilbert space \(H\). Assuming that \(\theta_0\) is a known equilibrium of this equation for some \(\lambda_0\), the authors consider the case in which the differential equation admits a multi-cosymmetry \(L=\{L_1,\dots,L_k\}\) depending on the parameter \(\lambda\). The authors address the following questions: (a) the appearance of an unstable domain inside an originally stable family of equilibria; (b) a saddle bifurcation, in which a stability (respectively, instability) domain locally splits into two components.
