A certain Dirichlet series attached to a Siegel modular form is studied. Such a Dirichlet series was investigated by Andrianov in the case of degree two. The author studies the Dirichlet series attached to the Siegel-Eisenstein series and proves that such a Dirichlet series can be expressed by the zeta factor (a product of Riemann's zeta functions) and the Euler product of ``universal polynomials''. The proof is based on the author's beautiful formula for the Fourier coefficient of the Siegel-Eisenstein series.
