The authors prove some results on pathwise exponential stability by extending to this case the stability theory previously developed for semilinear stochastic partial differential equations [see \textit{T. Caraballo} and \textit{K. Liu}, Stochastic Processes Appl. 83, 289-301 (1999) and \textit{T. Taniguchi}, Stochastics Rep. 53, 41-52 (1995; Zbl 0854.60051)]. The authors deal with an interesting stabilizability problem, that is, the authors analyze the possible reasons implying a stabilizing effect on the deterministic problem by the appearance of a random disturbance.
