    The oscillatory behaviour of \[ \Delta\biggl [a_{n-1}\bigl|\Delta (x_{n-1}+ p_{n-1} x_{n-1-\sigma}) \bigr |^{\alpha-1} \Delta(x_{n-1}+ p_{n-1} x_{n-1-\sigma}) \biggr]+ q_nf(x_{n-\tau}) =0 \] is studied with \(\alpha >0\), \(\sigma\) and \(\tau\) being nonnegative integers, \(0\leq p_n\leq 1\), \(a_n>0\) and \(q_n>0\) with infinitely many positive terms.
