This paper deals with computational methods for numerical simulation of unsteady Bingham visco-plastic flow. The methods are based on time-dicretization by operator-splitting and use a characterization of the solution by some kind of Lagrange multipliers. The complete discretization is performed by combining splitting methods with finite element approximations. Numerical experiments associated to a Bingham flow in two dimension are given.
