The authors study nonautonomous competitive systems with various life stages. Sufficient conditions for the persistence of the species are derived. The global stability of the periodic solution of the single species system is studied. Effects of the stage structure on the asymptotic behavior of the species are discussed. The reviewer thinks that the statement of Theorem 2.2 in the paper needs a slight modification.
