The geometric description of Hamiltonian formalism of first-order classical field theories admits several formulations. One of them is made using two different phase spaces \({\mathcal P}\) and \(\tilde{\mathcal P}\) which are fiber bundles over the configuration manifold, and are usually called multimomentum bundles. Both of them are endowed with a multisymplectic form which is an essential structure in order to formulate Hamilton-De Donder-Weyl equations in a geometrical way. This work is devoted to a geometric description of this formalism by using \(n\)-vector fields (skew-symmetric contravariant tensor fields of order greater than 1) as the tool for describing the solutions to field equations. Although \(n\)-vector fields have been used previously in this context (see, for instance, \textit{I. V. Kanatchikov} [Rep. Math. Phys. 40, No. 2, 225--234 (1997; Zbl 0905.58008)] and \textit{A. Echeverría-Enríquez, M. C. Munoz-Lecanda} and \textit{N. Roman-Roy} [J. Phys. A, Math. Gen. 32, 8461--8484 (1999; Zbl 0982.70019)]), the formalism presented here is developed in the extended phase space \({\mathcal P}\) instead of \(\tilde{\mathcal P}\). In this sense, this work is also a generalization to field theory of the extended Hamiltonian formalism of time-dependent mechanics [\textit{R. Kuwabara}, Rep. Math. Phys. 19, 27--38 (1984; Zbl 0561.58019)]. In particular, the authors study Hamiltonian functions admiting Hamiltonian \(n\)-vector fields in the extended phase space, and the conditions assuring their integrability.
