The authors use some special quadrature formulas with all their evaluation points lying on the boundary of the integration domains (boundary-type quadrature) in order to obtain a boundary element scheme. By this scheme they solve numerically an exterior problem for the Helmholtz equation. It is not very clear what is the relation of this scheme with the other well known boundary element methods. Moreover, there is a regrettable inadvertence in this paper. Some authors (Sadowski [18], Levin [16, 17], Fedorenko [3] and Ionescu [14]) are effectively quoted on page 19. Unfortunately, they do not appear in the list of references.
