In this interesting paper the author proves a class of triangle inequalities associated with the vertex angles and dihedral angles of a simplex. As an important application he improves an inequality on the volume of the pedal simplex by the following theorems: Let \(P\) be any internal point of the simplex \(\Omega\) or one of its facets, and \(H= \{H_1,H_2,\dots, H_{n+1}\}\) be the vertex set of the pedal simplex \(\Omega(P)\) with volume \(V_P\). Let \(V_{H_iPH_j}\) denote the volume of the two-dimensional simplex spanned by the points \(H_i\), \(P\), \(H_j\) (\(i,j= 1,2,\dots, n+1\), \(i\neq j\)). Then \[ V_P\leq {4\over (n-1)^2 n^n} \sum_{1\leq i< j\leq n+1} V_{ij} V_{H_i PH_j}\leq {1\over n^n}\, V. \] In both inequalities, equality holds if \(\Omega\) is a regular simplex and \(P\) is the circumcenter \(O\) of \(\Omega\).
