Flag Structures on Seifert Manifolds (Q1416615): Difference between revisions

The author considers projective actions of a cocompact lattice of \(SL(2,\mathbb R)\) on \(\mathbb RP^2\) such that there is a common fixed point which is a saddle fixed point for every element of infinite order of the group. It is proved that such an action is always topologically linearizable, and the linearization is Lipschitz if and only if it is projective. Some dynamical properties of the transversely affine flows obtained by deformations of horocyclic flows are deduced; in particular, it is shown that these flows are not minimal.
