The authors consider the continuum limit for the anisotropic spin chain with easy axis (or easy plane) in the constant magnetic field identifying this chain (in a well known way) with the cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Then they use the Darboux transformation (in Matveev's formulation) to construct one soliton solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation on the linear wave (plane wave) background. The formal expression for multisoliton solution on this background is also given but the phase shifts are not computed. The paper is concise and ``tedious calculations'' and deeper physical discussions are not presented.
