The authors consider a single server queue with two types of heterogeneous service with optional re-service. It is assumed that the system receives bulk input in batches of variable size and that the server provides one by one service to customers on FIFO basis. Just before servicing each customer chooses a type of service. After completing the service the customer either leaves the system or demands re-service. Re-service commences immediately. The paper gives formulae for the generating functions of the steady queue size distribution and for the main average characteristics.
