    The paper investigates the connection between the two-dimensional Kac equation and a stochastic differential equation. The existence of the spatially homogeneous solutions for Maxwellian particles is considered. The definition of a weak solution of the equation is introduced. It is shown the connection between a stochastic differential equation associated with the two-dimensional Kac equation. The existence and the uniqueness in law of a stochastic differential equation solution are proved. The existence of a weak solution of the Kac equation is obtained by using the Malliavin calculus. The smoothness of the weak solution is investigated. It is shown that the smooth density is satisfied by the two-dimensional Kac equation.
