The authors consider infinite, locally finite graphs with uniformly positive, weighted edges (networks). This defines a corresponding discrete Laplacian and its harmonic functions. The network is termed a ``Liouville space'', when the constants are the only bounded harmonic functions. The authors treat several types of networks and decide by combinatorial means whether they are Liouville or not. The final section on periodic graphs is covered by Theorem~25.4 of [\textit{W. Woess}, Random walks on infinite graphs and groups. Cambridge: Cambridge Univ. Press (2000; Zbl 0951.60002)].
