The author proposes a method to find new examples of minimal Legendrian submanifolds in the standard contact sphere. More precisely, he shows how such examples can be constructed once a certain equation for a function on a nearby glued Legendrian submanifold is solved. The author then suggests to find solutions for this equation via a certain gradient flow. As a first step twoards doing so, he finally proves its short time existence.
