The spectrum of one-dimensional Schrödinger operators is studied. Two results are obtained: one is concerned with the asymptotics of the gap parameter \(\Delta\) and the quantum rigidity \(\mathcal D\); the other gives upper bounds for \(\Delta\) and \(\mathcal D\) in terms of the mass.
