The authors study the long term behavior of the solutions of quaternionic dynamical system governed by linear homogeneous matrix quaternionic difference equation. After developing the necessary algebraic properties and tools of quaternionic polynomials and Laurent-polynomials, they establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the controllability and asymptotic stability of the dynamical system under study.
