Let \(S_n\) be the symmetric group of degree \(n\) and \(d^{H}_{\chi}(X)\) the generalized Schur function [\textit{R. Merris}, Multilinear Algebra, Algebra, Logic and Applications. 8. (Langhorne, PA: Gordon \& Breach). (1997; Zbl 0892.15020)] associated with \(H\) and \(\chi\), where \(X\) is an \(n \times n\) matrix over arbitrary field \(F\) of characteristic zero and \(H\) with an irreducible character \(\chi\) is a subgroup of \(S_n\). In this paper, the set of matrices \(A \in M_{n}(F)\), where \(M_{n}(F)\) is the linear space of \(n\)-square matrices satisfying \(d^{H}_{\chi}(AX) = d^{H}_{\chi}(X)\) for all \(X\) from the set of \(n\)-square upper triangular matrices is studied. The description of matrices \(A\) is given and a relationship between the set of matrices \(A\) and the set of \(n\)-square lower triangular matrices with diagonal elements equal to \(1\) is established. Then, using the Murnaghan-Nakayama rule [\textit{H. Boerner}, Representation of groups, American Elsevier, New York (1963; Zbl 0112.26301)] a complete description of the matrices in this set of \(n\)-square lower triangular matrices is given.
