Characterization of generalized Jordan \(\ast\)-left derivations on real nest algebras (Q2484402): Difference between revisions

Let \(H\) be a real and separable Hilbert space and \(\mathcal A\) be a real nest algebra of \(\mathcal B(H)\). In this paper, the authors prove mainly the following result: Theorem. Let \(\mathcal N\) be a complete nest on a real and separable Hilbert space \(H\), and let \(\varphi\) be a weak operator topology continuous linear mapping from the nest algebra alg\(\mathcal N\) into \(\mathcal B(H)\). Then the following are equivalent. (1) \(\varphi\) is a *-left preserving kernel-into range mapping. (2) \(\varphi\) is a generalized *-left inner derivation. (3) \(\varphi\) is a generalized Jordan *-left derivation. (4) \(\varphi\) is a *-left 1-preserving kernel-into range mapping.
