A nonoverlapping decomposition into subdomains with curvilinear boundaries is investigated. Some mortar formulations to the case of curvilinear boundaries and nonmatching triangulations are generalized. A priori results for the proposed nonconforming discretization scheme are obtained. A mesh dependent jump on the curved interfaces based on piecewise linear approximations of the interfaces is considered and the consistency error for the piecewise linear approximation is evaluated. Numerical results are also obtained.
