A semigroup is \(RDGC_n\)-commutative if (i) it satisfies the identity \(x^nyx^i=x^iyx^n\) for each \(i\geq 2\) and (ii) every right ideal is two-sided. In the paper under review, the \(RDGC_n\)-commutative semigroups that have permutable congruences or whose congruence lattice is a chain are classified.
