In this paper the authors define the concept of codimension one symplectic folations on a symplectic manifold, which is a generalization of the concept of codimension one holomorphic foliations on a complex manifold. After defining the Kupta type, they proved theorem 1.3: Let \((M,\omega)\) be a symplectic manifold, then \(M\) admits symplectic foliations of Kupta type which are not Lefschetz pencils. Also, \(M\) admits symplectic foliations not of Kupta type. The method of construction is a generalization of the techniques developed in the joint paper of \textit{V. Muñoz, F. Presas} and \textit{I. Sols}, see [J. Reine Angew. Math. 547, 149--189 (2002; Zbl 1004.53042)].
