\(G\)--complete fuzzy metric spaces were introduced and studied by \textit{M. Grabiec} [Fuzzy Sets Syst. 27, No. 3, 385-389 (1988; Zbl 0664.54032)]. In this paper, the existence of a unique common fixed point for a family of mappings on a G-complete fuzzy metric space is shown.
