The authors present a new Newton-Cotes formula for the computation of hypersingular integrals by the form \[ \int_{a}^{b}\!\!\!\!\!\!\!\!\! H \quad\frac{f(t)}{(t-s)^{2}} dt, s\in (a, b), \] where \(\displaystyle\int \!\!\!\!\!\!\!\!\! H\) denotes a Hadamard finite part integral and \(s\) is the singular point. The theoretical analysis and numerical examples show that the new formula is efficient. They also present new estimates for the classical Newton-Cotes formulae, which largely extends the applicability of the method. The work contains a bibliography including 34 references from the most significant works in this domain.
