Let \(F: X \to X\) be a twice continuously differentiable mapping in a Banach space \(X\) and \(y\) a solution to the equation \(F(u)=0\). Suppose that \(\| (F^{\prime}(u)+\varepsilon I)^{-1} \| \leq c_0 \varepsilon^{-k}\), \(\varepsilon \in (0,\varepsilon_0)\), \(k>0\). The author proves that the regularized equation \(F(u)+\varepsilon u=0\), \(\varepsilon \in (0,\varepsilon_0)\) has a solution \(v_{\varepsilon}\). On assumption that \(y=F^{\prime}(y) \psi\) with sufficiently small \(\| \psi\|\), the estimate \(\| v_{\varepsilon}-y \|=O(\varepsilon^{\min\{k,1\}})\) is established.
