Uniform reciprocal approximation subject to linear constraints (Q793260): Difference between revisions

A general theory is presented for uniform approximation by reciprocals of elements of a linear subspace subject to linear constraints. Existence, characterization and uniqueness results are given in this nonlinear setting which are analogous to known results in the theory of constrained linear approximation.
