[For part I see the review above (Zbl 0538.73001).] The author's method of invariant manifolds, which derives a coarse theory from the fine theory, is applied to a concrete problem. He considers a derivation from the 3-dimensional elasticity theory of a theory of 0- dimensional bodies with three directors, where the basic descriptors are the mass center of the body and three directors for describing the orientation and certain features of deformations of the body. Ordinary differential equations are given for describing the motion of deformable bodies. The results are compared with Cohen's theory of pseudo-rigid bodies [\textit{H. Cohen} and the author, The dynamics of pseudorigid bodies, J. Elasticity 14, 127-154 (1984)].
