For a linear combination of functions of order statistics, some inequalities are considered under an additive model (on the basic random variables). Some monotonicity and convexity conditions are also brought to extend these inequalities to a more general model. Majorization plays an important role in this theory, and applications to diverse dependent models are also considered.
