In this paper, the aerodynamic characteristics of wings of low aspect ratio are studied in the case when there is flow separation from the wing edges. The aim of the paper is to construct an asymptotic theory of higher approximation to obtain a solution which contains informations about the influence of trailing edge of the wing. A numerical method is given, and a comparison is made with other methods: the discrete-vortex method and the panel method. In contrast to slender-body theory, in the present method the Chaplygin-Zhukowskii condition is satisfied.
