This paper deals with the problem of existence and construction of quadrature rules, of trigonometric degree d using \(d+1\) abscissas, for the integral \(\bar If=\int^{\pi}_{-\pi}w(\theta)f(\theta)d\theta\) where \(w(\theta)\) is non-negative and has positive mean value. They developed some of their elementary properties which are believed to be new. The approach is based on transforming standard algebraic quadrature rules for a doubly infinite interval.
