Consider the difference system \(x(n)=A(n-1)x(n-1)\) where n is an integer, \(x(n)\in E(n),\quad n\in {\mathbb{Z}},\) E(n) being a Banach space. If the operator \(({\mathfrak A}y)(n)=y(n)-A(n-1)x(n-1)\) has a continuous inverse then the difference system has the property of exponential dichotomy. Also, if \(E(n)=E,\quad n\in {\mathbb{Z}},\) A(n) is almost periodic and completely continuous and \(\inf \{\| {\mathfrak A}x\|,\| x\|>1\}>0,\) then the difference system has the dichotomy property.
