The paper presents a methodological approach for the evaluation of age- specific vaccination strategies which aim to the reduction of infection incidence to zero. The analysis is based on constant rates. The authors have assumed exponential decay of vaccine immunity. The optimal age for a single vaccination and for two vaccinations is presented in tables included in the text.
