Let \({\mathcal F}=\{G_{\alpha}| \alpha \in A\}\) be a collection of proper subgroups of a group G with \(\cup_{\alpha \in A}G_{\alpha}=G\) and \(G_{\alpha}\cap G_{\beta}=\{0\}\) for \(\alpha \neq \beta\). \({\mathcal F}\) is called a fibration of G. By results of J. André it makes sense to study \(E(G,{\mathcal F})=\{f\in End G| \quad f(G_{\alpha})\subseteq G_{\alpha}\quad for\quad each\quad \alpha \in A\}\) because of its considerable geometric significance (fibered groups are in a 1-1-correspondence with translation structures and the elements of E(G,\({\mathcal F})\) are dilatations). If G is abelian, E(G,\({\mathcal F})\) is a ring. If G is non-abelian, however, E(G,\({\mathcal F})\) additively generates a near-ring N. This near-ring is studied in this paper for finite G. It is shown that, even if G is non-abelian, N is always a ring. Moreover, if \(E\neq \{0,id\}\), N is a field (although the elements of N are not necessarily endomorphisms of G!) and G is nilpotent of class \(\leq 2\). Finally, it is shown that there is no near-ring R acting faithfully and unitary on a group G such that \(\{\) R\(g|\) \(g\in G\}\) is a fibration of G.
