This paper presents a computational algorithm based on the combination of the Dorodnitsyn boundary layer formulation, a modified Galerkin finite element method and an efficient, noniterative, implicit marching scheme. It has been tested on four representative cases. It appears that it is accurate as well as economical. The authors claim that it is ten times more economical than the other methods. It appears to be a very useful contribution in the computation of turbulent boundary layer.
