This is a continuation of the author's work ''On semitranslation blocks'' [Geom. Dedicata 16, 279-290 (1984)] where a classification of symmetric designs with semi-translation blocks is considered. Under this classification six types of designs arise. It is proved that the class of designs of type VI is a proper subclass of those of type V, and all designs of type V can be obtained from projective geometric designs by a certain construction.
