    Zwei \(n\times n\)-Matrizen A,B heißen permutationsäquivalent, wenn \(B=PAP^ T\) mit einer Permutationsmatrix P gilt. Weiter wird A primitiv genannt, wenn \(A^ k\) mit geeignetem k eine Matrix mit lauter positiven Elementen ist. Verf. zeigt: Eine \(n\times n\)-Matrix A mit \(n\geq 2\) und mit Elementen aus \(\{\) 0,1\(\}\) ist genau dann zu einer primitiven Matrix permutationsäquivalent, wenn sie keine Nullzeile und keine Nullspalte enthält, nicht selbst eine Permutationsmatrix ist und nicht permutationsäquivalent ist zu der Matrix \((b_{i,k})\) mit \(b_{n,1}=...=b_{n,n-1}=b_{1,n}=...=b_{n-1,n}=1\) und \(b_{i,k}=0\) sonst. Als Anwendungen werden Kriterien dafür hergeleitet, wann A zu vorgegebenen Typen irreduzibler Matrizen permutationsäquivalent ist.
