The authors study the geometry of Cartan connections and their relation to the theory of spontaneous symmetry-breaking. They consider the equations of motion of a massive chargeless particle whose spin interacts with the curvature and torsion of a gravitational field. These equations are solved in the case of a constant vector torsion on a flat Minkowski space and the solution for a vector torsion wave is exhibited.
