The authors consider an integral equation with curvilinear convolutions in the space \(L_ p(\Gamma)\), \(1<p<\infty\), where \(\Gamma\) is a closed contour. The solution is based on a representation of the considered operator as composition of some simple operators. On this way they are able to obtain solvability conditions.
